ABOUT GLENN MOSHER
I was born in Springfield, Vermont to a Congregational minister and
his loving wife. Soon they moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a warmer
climate. I have no memories of Vermont, but I hear the people are tough
and the maple syrup is excellent. By the time I was three years old my
parents had decided to move to Peru, South America as missionaries who
would live off the land—the crops they could grow and the animals that
they could hunt or raise. No one should have been surprised because they
had been missionaries in Ghana, Africa before I was born.
We lived in Peru for almost nine years. During that time my two
sisters and I were joined by three more sisters. I believe that qualifies as a
passel of sisters! Sandwiched in the middle, I grew up independent and
largely free to roam as long as I contributed to the farm and our
subsistence. My father was an excellent minister and in time we had a
church community of about three hundred where we lived with branches all
over Peru. My father was one of many pastors in the extended church.
We returned to the United States when I was twelve. Fast forward
ten years and I had graduated from college and was a Spanish, French and
Latin teacher in a Savannah, Georgia middle school. There I met Army
veterans who regaled me with their stories of military service.
After two years of teaching, I decided to join the Army. I enlisted and
a couple of years later I was a commissioned Artillery officer. While in
Kosovo, I met a wonderful Peruvian woman online and we eventually fell in
love and got married. My military service lasted twenty-two years, and my
marriage lasted twenty-five. Yes, I am human.
Professional Bio
I now represent health insurance benefits in almost all their forms.
So, what do I bring to the table? I represent all the best companies in the
greater Kansas City area. I am licensed in Kansas and Missouri, and I
don’t mind a drive to help out my clients. What products do I represent?
My portfolio of offerings includes the following: Medicare Supplements and
Advantage programs, vision plans, dental plans, hearing plans, Hospital
Indemnity Plans, Short-term Home Healthcare plans, Cancer plans and
Critical Illness plans. On the investment side, I have options to recommend
as well, but the list is so long that I only discuss options on an individual
basis after hearing your goals and the legacy that you seek to build and
protect.
What is my goal when I meet with a client? It is always the same. I
have not done my job unless I leave you with more benefits, more
savings—or both. I get a rush out of my job because I get to earn a living
helping other people protect themselves and their future. I cannot think of
a higher and more enjoyable calling. I trust you will measure me by my
professionalism and the value that I bring to you.
